On Tuesday, July 15th, Cape Cod Village participated in the 2014 Bob Murray

Housing with Love Walk. Founded 22 years ago by Bob Murray, a tireless advocate for the homeless, the Walk began in Provincetown on Monday and will end in Falmouth on July 20th. This seven day, 100 mile adventure will raise over a quarter of a million dollars and benefit 11 Cape Cod non-profits who are committed to developing compassionate solutions to homelessness for our local families. This year’s Walk is a particularly poignant one as Bob Murray passed away last September.

Cape Cod Village named Richard Hoffmann, Superintendent of Nauset Public Schools, as a Celebrity Walker. CCV’s sponsorship of Richard will benefit Homeless Prevention Council and Harwich Ecumenical Council for Housing, two of the 11 participating organizations.
