Thank you for considering a donation to The Center at Cape Cod Village – every gift makes a difference! Your gift will be used where it is needed most. How you give may also benefit you, should you choose to give through a bequest or another legal arrangement.

When you make a gift by check or credit card, the entire amount of your gift represents a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes. The Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all contributions are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

“I give because I see clearly the impact my gift has on the lives of the young adults who attend programs at The Center. They promised to deliver a place of safety and dignity to these young adults, and one visit reflects that promise in action..”

Securities and Stocks

Gifts of readily-marketable securities or stocks, including mutual funds, are simple to make and may provide a greater tax benefit than an equivalent gift in cash. You receive a tax deduction for the full market value of the appreciated securities you give.

In addition to giving appreciated securities as an outright gift, you may choose to make a gift of securities or stocks through a trust, thereby preserving income during your lifetime or the lifetime of your designated beneficiary. The tax advantages vary according to the plan you chose. Donors should consult with a tax advisor for more information.

Gift-in-Kind

Cape Cod Village welcomes items of tangible personal property. Donors will receive a charitable deduction for the market value. Please contact the office at 774-316-4640 if you wish to make a gift-in-kind.

Legacy Gifts

A gift through your will, trust, retirement assets or life insurance creates a legacy for you and your family. These gifts provide lasting resources for us, enhance our financial strength, and ensure we will be able to provide housing and services to future generations of adults with autism or other developmental disabilities.

Whatever your stage in life or financial circumstances, you can make a gift that benefits your loved ones, addresses your financial goals, and shares your values while supporting the mission and programs of The Center at Cape Cod Village. We recommend that you consult your attorney or tax advisor about how tax benefits may apply to your specific situation.
